Antebellum Red 2016
Aromas: cherry cola, leather
Flavors: cherry cola, wild blackberries and a hint of TN whiskey
This wine was made from a complex blend of our estate grown Chambourcin, Tennessee grown Syrah, Norton, and Noiret, along with the Cabernet Sauvignon grown in California and Washington. This wine blend was aged in French oak for one year, then transferred to TN whiskey barrels for another nine months of aging. Whiskey barrel aging mellows the wine and infuses it with extra layers of delicious complexity.
BBQ, smoked meats, steaks, savory dishes, dark chocolate
