This reserve Merlot has aromas of wild roses and cherry, followed by flavors of black cherry, cocoa, and vanilla oak.
This fruit forward, complex and rich wine is primarily Merlot with a small addition of Cabernet Sauvignon to add complexity. The Russell was aged in 75% French oak and 25% Hungarian oak barrels for 25 months.
